Name everyone involved in a concern

A safeguarding concern is rarely about one child on their own. You can now link as many people as you need to the same concern and say what each one’s part in it was — the subject of the concern, a witness, another child involved, an adult involved. The concern list and the audit pack show who else was named and in what role, and the body map and injury details stay with the subject. Suggested by a designated safeguarding lead on the concern form itself.

One inbox for everything

Notifications from every part of the site now land in a single inbox, whether you manage bookings, deliver courses or both. It opens on what you have not read yet, each message says where it came from, and you can dismiss a whole batch in one go rather than one at a time.

Body map: mark more than one area at once

When you record a safeguarding concern, the body map now lets you mark every affected area on the same record — a right eye and a left arm together, each with its side and whether it is front or back. This one came straight from a suggestion made on the concern form, and it was live within the week.

Choose who can see incident records

Incident records are sensitive, so they are held behind an Incidents Manager role rather than open to every administrator. A new page lets an organisation admin grant or take away that role for named staff, and the CSV export follows the same rule. Where a pupil’s identity has been redacted, reports now say “name withheld” instead of leaving a blank.

IQA records: evidence and a certificate

Each internal quality assurance activity now asks for the details that matter for its type, lets you attach the supporting documents, and produces an activity certificate you can download. Whoever created the record can reopen it, and the hours stay credited to the person who did the work.

State the standards you work to

On My Accreditations you can now record the requirement sets you choose to work to, even where no awarding body has verified you against them. They appear on your record as “works to”, clearly marked as self-applied, so a provider can see the bar you hold yourself to without it ever reading as a verification.

Schools: enrol on the free allergy course

Schools can now enrol on the free Allergy & Anaphylaxis Awareness course straight from its course page — sign in, press enrol, and it appears in your learning right away, no booking form and nothing to pay. It covers the policy duty that is now in force for schools.

A verification link for your training providers

Generate a public link, or a QR code, that confirms you are a trainer working with a provider — and if you work independently, you can issue your own card. Copy it, print it, revoke it or regenerate it at any time from the trainer portal.

Certificates in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet

Once a certificate has been verified on the certificate page, it can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, so a learner has it on their phone when an employer or an assessor asks to see it. The pass points back to the same verified record as the certificate itself.

Spot a bounced sign-in email in the room

If an attendee’s sign-in email bounced, the trainer register now flags it against their name, so you can correct a mistyped address while they are in front of you instead of chasing it after the course.

Write articles for your website

Your hosted website now has a news section you can fill yourself. Write an article, add a header image, and it appears on your site straight away — or save it as a draft until it is ready. Fresh articles are one of the best ways to bring search traffic to your site, so tell people about the courses you run, the questions learners ask, and the work you are proud of.

Add your products and courses

List what you offer — a course, a service or something you sell — with a title, a short description, a price and up to five photos. Courses appear on your website’s Courses page and products in its Shop, so visitors can see what you do without you touching a line of code.

Choose the pages on your website — and use your own domain

Not everyone wants a Shop or a News page. Website settings now lets you switch each section of your hosted site on or off — Courses, Public Dates, Shop and News — and explains how to point a domain name you already own at your site using your domain provider’s web forwarding.

Add your photo and company logo

Upload a photo of yourself and your organisation’s logo from My Account. The logo is stored once and used everywhere — your hosted website header, booking emails and course certificates all pick it up automatically, at the right size for each.

Your accreditations, in one place

Record every awarding organisation, regulator and trade body you are registered with. Each one then shows the evidence behind it — the courses you have delivered under that body, your monitoring assessments, and any documents you have tagged to it — so when a provider or an auditor asks what you are approved to teach, the answer is already there.

Share your documents with a link or QR code

Send a prospective employer a time-limited link, or a QR code they can scan, to just the documents you choose. They do not need an account, and they always see your current version — replace your insurance certificate and the link shows the new one. You can see who has viewed it, and revoke it at any time.

Can’t find your awarding body? Suggest it

If the organisation you are registered with is not on the list, type it in and send it over. We check it and add it, and let you know either way — so a missing name never stops you recording an accreditation.
