Verify a certificate number
Enter either the certificate reference (for example SEM-7K3M9QWZ4X) or the older certificate number in the format 00000.00000. Both are accepted.
Getting your certificate
When you complete a course, your certificate is issued automatically and a link is emailed to the address held on your booking. That link opens your certificate directly. If you no longer have the email, enter your certificate number in the box above to retrieve it.
If you cannot find your certificate
Check the inbox of the address the booking was made under, including the spam folder, and search for the name of the course. If the certificate was issued to a work address you no longer use, or the booking was made for you by someone else, your training provider holds the record and can reissue the link. Certificates remain available here for two years after they expire, so an out-of-date qualification can still be produced as evidence of prior training.
Checking somebody else’s certificate
This page is for retrieving your own certificate. If you are an employer confirming that a qualification someone has shown you is genuine, use the qualification verification page instead — it confirms the holder, the course and the expiry date from the awarding record, and needs no account.
