Medical Emergencies in the Practice

3.5 hours 5 modules Certificate on completion

About This Course

Online CPD (theory) for the whole dental and GP practice team — clinical and non-clinical. Covers recognising and managing the medical emergencies a primary care team must handle (the ABCDE approach), the standard emergency drugs and equipment, anaphylaxis and adrenaline, and emergency oxygen. Aligned with Resuscitation Council UK Guidelines 2025, SDCEP and CQC expectations, and counts towards the GDC recommended medical-emergencies CPD hours.

Important: this is knowledge/CPD only. It does not include or replace the hands-on CPR + AED skills training or the annual practical assessment required by RCUK — that stays face-to-face (our onsite session).
