First Aid

Appointed Person (First Aid) Awareness

1 hours 9 modules Certificate on completion

About This Course

A short online awareness course (about an hour) explaining the workplace appointed person role for first aid: taking charge of the first-aid arrangements, looking after the kit and facilities, recognising an emergency and calling for help.

This is an awareness/CPD course — it does not make you a first aider and does not qualify you to give first aid. Aimed at low-hazard workplaces (offices, shops, libraries) with fewer than 25 staff. Content accredited by the Training Industry Body (TIB) at its own Level 1 (awareness) tier; not an HSE-recognised first-aid qualification.

Course Requirements

Valid for 3 Years

After this period, the qualification typically needs to be requalified.
